Altinoba steht nach Wählerzahl an 73. Stelle unter den 74 Ortsteilen von Göksun. Es gibt dort eine einzige Wahlurne; zur Parlamentswahl 2023 waren 47 Wähler registriert.

Das Stadtviertel weicht vom Bezirksdurchschnitt ab. Bei der Parlamentswahl 2023 lag hier İYİ Parti mit 18 Stimmen vorn, während in Göksun insgesamt AK Parti mit 40,8 % stärkste Kraft war; İYİ Parti kam dort auf 9,9 %. Bei der Stichwahl um das Präsidentenamt entfielen 38 von 41 gültigen Stimmen auf Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; im gesamten Bezirk lag der Anteil bei 24,5 %.
