Wie Cumhuriyet wählt

An 3. Stelle unter den 14 Ortsteilen von Çandır gelegen, zählte Cumhuriyet zur Parlamentswahl 2023 300 registrierte Wähler.

AK Parti erhielt hier 110 der 230 gültigen Stimmen (47,8 %). Damit liegt das Stadtviertel 13,6 Punkte über dem Bezirksschnitt der Partei. Bei der Stichwahl um das Präsidentenamt erhielt Recep Tayyip Erdoğan hier 75,3 % — 6,8 Punkte über dem Bezirksdurchschnitt. Beim Referendum 2017 stimmten hier 68,8 % mit „Ja“ — 9,6 Punkte über dem Bezirksdurchschnitt.

Bei der Kommunalwahl 2024 lag hier Yeniden Refah mit 41,4 % vorn, während in Çandır insgesamt MHP gewann. AK Parti lag bei der Parlamentswahl 2011 bei 65,4 % und fiel bis 2023 auf 47,8 %.
