Kuyumcu steht nach Wählerzahl an 54. Stelle unter den 126 Ortsteilen von Yozgat. Es gibt dort eine einzige Wahlurne; zur Parlamentswahl 2023 waren 141 Wähler registriert.

Das Stadtviertel weicht vom Bezirksdurchschnitt ab. Bei der Parlamentswahl 2023 lag hier İYİ Parti mit 126 Stimmen vorn, während in Yozgat insgesamt AK Parti mit 39,9 % stärkste Kraft war; İYİ Parti kam dort auf 25,3 %. Bei der Stichwahl um das Präsidentenamt entfielen 132 von 139 gültigen Stimmen auf Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; im gesamten Bezirk lag der Anteil bei 26,2 %. Beim Referendum 2017 entfielen 114 von 116 gültigen Stimmen auf „Nein“; im Bezirk lag der Nein-Anteil bei 27,0 %.
