How Agikan votes

A single ballot box served Agikan at the 2023 parliamentary election, with 116 registered voters; that places it 133rd among the 184 localities of Adıyaman.

97 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 74; independents followed with 7. AK Parti's share here is 31.0 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff, 92 of 106 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 24.8 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 107 of 110 valid votes were 'yes' — 33.5 points above the district average.

Turnout at the 2024 local election was 97.6%, 25.3 points above the district average. At the 2024 local election the village went to AK Parti with 55 votes, while Adıyaman as a whole was won by CHP. The picture has not changed since 2018: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 4 elections.
