How Cakmaklar votes

A single ballot box served Cakmaklar at the 2023 parliamentary election, with 161 registered voters; that places it 107th among the 184 localities of Adıyaman.

135 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 89; CHP followed with 9. AK Parti's share here is 28.9 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff, 107 of 128 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 21.6 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 127 of 143 valid votes were 'yes' — 25.0 points above the district average.

At the 2023 parliamentary election 15 of 135 ballots cast were ruled invalid (11.1%), well above the district average. At the 2024 local election the village went to AK Parti with 53 votes, while Adıyaman as a whole was won by CHP. The picture has not changed since 2018: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 4 elections. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 55.4%, 17.0 points below the district average.
