Cayirli ranks 178th by electorate among the 184 localities of Adıyaman. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 41 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
39 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 30; MHP followed with 6. AK Parti's share here is 31.6 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff, 38 of 39 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 35.5 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 69 of 69 valid votes were 'yes' — 36.2 points above the district average.
The picture has not changed since 2009: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 9 elections. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 95.1%, 14.9 points above the district average. The electorate shrank from 75 registered voters in 2011 to 41 in 2023 — a change of about 45 percent. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 35 votes, while Adıyaman as a whole was won by CHP.
