With 191 voters on the roll at the 2023 parliamentary election, Dardagan stands 96th among the 184 localities of Adıyaman, and its votes were cast at one ballot box.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to Yeşil Sol Parti with 130 votes, while across Adıyaman the leading party was AK Parti, with Yeşil Sol Parti here running 69.2 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 159 of 161 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 60.7 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 195 of 196 valid votes were 'no' — 63.3 points above the district average.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to DEM Parti with 112 votes, while Adıyaman as a whole was won by CHP. The electorate shrank from 287 registered voters in 2011 to 191 in 2023 — a change of about 33 percent. The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2014: the same political line has finished first in all of the last 7 elections (BDP in 2014, Yeşil Sol Parti in 2015, HDP in 2019, DEM Parti in 2024). Turnout at the 2024 local election was 83.8%, 11.4 points above the district average.
