Dardagan ranks 96th by electorate among the 184 localities of Adıyaman. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 191 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to Yeşil Sol Parti with 130 votes, while across Adıyaman the leading party was AK Parti with 45.3%, leaving Yeşil Sol Parti at 15.2%. In the presidential runoff, 159 of 161 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; across the district that share was 38.0%. At the 2017 referendum 195 of 196 valid votes were 'no'; across the district the 'no' share was 36.2%.
The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2014: the same political line has finished first in all of the last 7 elections (BDP in 2014, Yeşil Sol Parti in 2015, HDP in 2019, DEM Parti in 2024). At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to DEM Parti with 112 votes, while Adıyaman as a whole was won by CHP. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 83.8%, 11.4 points above the district average.
