How Ipekli votes

Ipekli ranks 146th by electorate among the 184 localities of Adıyaman; it had 94 registered voters at the 2023 parliamentary election.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 70.7%, while across Adıyaman the leading party was AK Parti with 45.3%, leaving CHP at 22.5%. The same divide shows in the presidential runoff: Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 95.6% here and 38.0% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 97.6% of the neighborhood voted 'no'; across the district that was 36.2%.

The picture has not changed since 2009: CHP has finished first in all of the last 9 elections. CHP stood at 89.6% at the 2011 parliamentary election and fell to 70.7% by 2023. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 98.9%, 18.7 points above the district average.
