The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to Yeşil Sol Parti with 82.3%, while across Adıyaman the leading party was AK Parti, with Yeşil Sol Parti here running 67.1 points above its district average. The same divide shows in the presidential runoff: Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 98.9% here, 60.9 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 99.1% of the neighborhood voted 'no' — 62.8 points above the district average.
Turnout at the 2024 local election was 84.1%, 11.8 points above the district average. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to DEM Parti with 57.7%, while Adıyaman as a whole was won by CHP. Yeşil Sol Parti stood at 95.0% at the 2015 parliamentary election and fell to 82.3% by 2023. The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2014: the same political line has finished first in all of the last 7 elections (BDP in 2014, Yeşil Sol Parti in 2015, HDP in 2019, DEM Parti in 2024).
