Kozan ranks 152nd by electorate among the 184 localities of Adıyaman. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 83 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 57 votes, while across Adıyaman the leading party was AK Parti, with CHP here running 48.7 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 74 of 81 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 53.3 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 69 of 88 valid votes were 'no' — 42.2 points above the district average.
