The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 79 votes, while across Adıyaman the leading party was AK Parti, with CHP here running 37.8 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 128 of 131 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 59.7 points above the district average.
