How Berete votes

Berete ranks 63rd by electorate among the 104 localities of Besni. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 233 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

173 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 73; Yeşil Sol Parti followed with 56. AK Parti's share here is 2.6 points below the district average. In the presidential runoff, 92 of 162 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan; across the district that share was 65.2%. At the 2017 referendum 140 of 180 valid votes were 'yes'; across the district the 'yes' share was 67.9%.

At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to DEM Parti with 68 votes, while Besni as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 71.1%, 9.3 points below the district average.
