The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 30 votes, while across Besni the leading party was AK Parti, with CHP here running 45.7 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 43 of 47 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 56.6 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 37 of 40 valid votes were 'no' — 60.4 points above the district average.
