The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 30 votes, while across Besni the leading party was AK Parti with 46.6%, leaving CHP at 22.5%. In the presidential runoff, 43 of 47 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; across the district that share was 34.8%.
