Sugozu-Inonu is one of the localities of Besni; it had 448 registered voters at the 2011 parliamentary election.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2011 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 45.2%, while across Besni the leading party was AK Parti with 61.0%, leaving CHP at 19.8%. At the 2010 referendum 55.7% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 76.8%.
