How Gumuskasik votes

Gumuskasik ranks 14th by electorate among the 49 localities of Gerger; it had 231 registered voters at the 2023 parliamentary election.

AK Parti took 76.0% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Gerger the same party stood at 73.3%, putting the neighborhood 2.7 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 97.0% here and 87.1% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 93.4% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 87.7%.

The picture has not changed since 2009: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 9 elections. AK Parti recorded its highest share at the 2015 parliamentary election with 93.4%. AK Parti stood at 86.2% at the 2011 parliamentary election and fell to 76.0% by 2023. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 54.1%, 22.1 points below the district average.
