Yenikoy ranks 37th by electorate among the 47 localities of Gölbaşı. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 162 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 129 votes, while across Gölbaşı the leading party was AK Parti, with CHP here running 48.7 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 165 of 168 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 60.8 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 176 of 184 valid votes were 'no' — 54.7 points above the district average.
The tightest race came at the 2015 parliamentary election: CHP took 85 votes to Yeşil Sol Parti's 80 — a margin of just 5 votes. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 142 votes, while Gölbaşı as a whole was won by AK Parti. The picture has not changed since 2009: CHP has finished first in all of the last 9 elections. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 97.1%, 13.4 points above the district average.
