How Kovanoluk votes

A single ballot box served Kovanoluk at the 2023 parliamentary election, with 20 registered voters; that places it 20th among the 20 localities of Samsat.

23 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 12; MHP followed with 5. AK Parti's share here is 12.3 points below the district average. In the presidential runoff, 17 of 21 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 9.1 points below the district average. At the 2017 referendum 31 of 32 valid votes were 'yes' — 2.9 points above the district average.

The tightest race came at the 2014 local election: AK Parti took 21 votes to BBP's 10 — a margin of just 11 votes. The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2011: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 8 elections. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 47.4%, 37.8 points below the district average. The electorate shrank from 56 registered voters in 2011 to 20 in 2023 — a change of about 64 percent.
