How Taskuyu votes

Taskuyu ranks 5th by electorate among the 20 localities of Samsat; it had 330 registered voters at the 2023 parliamentary election.

AK Parti took 77.2% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Samsat the same party stood at 66.8%, putting the neighborhood 10.4 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 97.6% here and 90.1% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 99.3% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 94.0%.

AK Parti recorded its highest share at the 2015 parliamentary election with 95.2%. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to HÜDA PAR with 85.1%, while Samsat as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 93.6%, 8.4 points above the district average.
