How Akcay votes

A single ballot box served Akcay at the 2023 parliamentary election, with 83 registered voters; that places it 96th among the 124 localities of Ağrı.

65 people voted at that election. Yeşil Sol Parti took the most votes with 33; AK Parti followed with 15. Yeşil Sol Parti's share here is 6.0 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff, 44 of 60 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 19.8 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 32 of 43 valid votes were 'no' — 28.2 points above the district average.
