How Anakaya votes

Anakaya ranks 69th by electorate among the 124 localities of Ağrı. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 128 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 47 votes, while across Ağrı the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti with 47.2%, leaving AK Parti at 34.6%. In the presidential runoff, 60 of 104 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan; across the district that share was 46.4%. At the 2017 referendum 75 of 108 valid votes were 'yes'; across the district the 'yes' share was 53.8%.

Turnout at the 2024 local election was 83.5%, 14.4 points above the district average.
