The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 17 votes, while across Ağrı the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 5.9 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 20 of 37 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 7.6 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 25 of 43 valid votes were 'yes' — 4.3 points above the district average.
The tightest race came at the 2023 parliamentary election: AK Parti took 17 votes to Yeşil Sol Parti's 15 — a margin of just 2 votes. The electorate shrank from 77 registered voters in 2011 to 49 in 2023 — a change of about 36 percent. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 16 votes, while Ağrı as a whole was won by DEM Parti. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 51.2%, 17.9 points below the district average.
