Yeşil Sol Parti took 64.8% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Ağrı the same party stood at 47.2%, putting the neighborhood 17.6 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 62.4% here and 53.6% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 60.5% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 53.8%.
