Catalipasa ranks 50th by electorate among the 124 localities of Ağrı. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 202 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 114 votes, while across Ağrı the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 52.5 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 104 of 116 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 43.2 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 144 of 152 valid votes were 'yes' — 40.9 points above the district average.
Turnout at the 2024 local election was 94.7%, 25.6 points above the district average.
