The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 29 votes, while across Ağrı the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 18.2 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 33 of 52 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 17.0 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 41 of 61 valid votes were 'yes' — 13.4 points above the district average.
The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2015: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 5 elections. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 44.6%, 24.5 points below the district average. The tightest race came at the 2023 parliamentary election: AK Parti took 29 votes to Yeşil Sol Parti's 19 — a margin of just 10 votes. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 24 votes, while Ağrı as a whole was won by DEM Parti.
