Guvenli ranks 94th by electorate among the 124 localities of Ağrı. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 88 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 29 votes, while across Ağrı the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti with 47.2%, leaving AK Parti at 34.6%. In the presidential runoff, 33 of 52 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan; across the district that share was 46.4%. At the 2017 referendum 41 of 61 valid votes were 'yes'; across the district the 'yes' share was 53.8%.
