How Kavacik votes

With 62 voters on the roll at the 2023 parliamentary election, Kavacik stands 106th among the 124 localities of Ağrı, and its votes were cast at one ballot box.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 27 votes, while across Ağrı the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with CHP here running 50.9 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 26 of 44 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 5.5 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 43 of 58 valid votes were 'no' — 28.0 points above the district average.

First place has changed hands 6 times here since 2009. The tightest race came at the 2018 parliamentary election: CHP took 21 votes to Yeşil Sol Parti's 20 — a margin of just 1 vote.
