Konuktepe ranks 104th by electorate among the 124 localities of Ağrı. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 67 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 49 votes, while across Ağrı the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 47.1 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 52 of 56 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 46.4 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 71 of 77 valid votes were 'yes' — 38.4 points above the district average.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 32 votes, while Ağrı as a whole was won by DEM Parti. The picture has not changed since 2009: AK Parti has finished first in all of the last 9 elections. The electorate shrank from 92 registered voters in 2011 to 67 in 2023 — a change of about 27 percent. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 89.6%, 12.5 points above the district average.
