How Aktuglu votes

A single ballot box served Aktuglu at the 2023 parliamentary election, with 50 registered voters; that places it 90th among the 100 localities of Doğubayazıt.

43 people voted at that election. Yeşil Sol Parti took the most votes with 19; AK Parti followed with 13. Yeşil Sol Parti's share here is 25.5 points below the district average. In the presidential runoff, 24 of 42 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 25.1 points below the district average. At the 2017 referendum 26 of 39 valid votes were 'no' — 9.5 points below the district average.

The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2014: the same political line has finished first in all of the last 7 elections (BDP in 2014, Yeşil Sol Parti in 2015, HDP in 2019, DEM Parti in 2024). Turnout at the 2024 local election was 100.0%, 34.8 points above the district average. The tightest race came at the 2023 parliamentary election: Yeşil Sol Parti took 19 votes to AK Parti's 13 — a margin of just 6 votes.
