Yeşil Sol Parti took 82.4% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Doğubayazıt the same party stood at 74.2%, putting the neighborhood 8.3 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 79.6% here and 82.2% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 78.2% of the neighborhood voted 'no'; across the district that was 76.2%.
