The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to Yeşil Sol Parti with 63 votes, while across Eleşkirt the leading party was AK Parti, with Yeşil Sol Parti here running 42.9 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 67 of 83 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 43.2 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 85 of 116 valid votes were 'no' — 48.1 points above the district average.
The tightest race came at the 2024 local election: DEM Parti took 34 votes to AK Parti's 31 — a margin of just 3 votes. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to DEM Parti with 34 votes, while Eleşkirt as a whole was won by AK Parti.
