The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to Yeşil Sol Parti with 42 votes, while across Eleşkirt the leading party was AK Parti, with Yeşil Sol Parti here running 11.7 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 43 of 78 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 7.3 points below the district average. At the 2017 referendum 80 of 90 valid votes were 'yes' — 14.1 points above the district average.
