Haydaroglu ranks 34th by electorate among the 75 localities of Eleşkirt. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 195 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to Yeşil Sol Parti with 62 votes, while across Eleşkirt the leading party was AK Parti, with Yeşil Sol Parti here running 10.3 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 80 of 133 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 2.3 points below the district average. At the 2017 referendum 164 of 203 valid votes were 'yes' — 6.0 points above the district average.
Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 79.0%, 10.1 points above the district average. The tightest race came at the 2014 local election: AK Parti took 81 votes to Saadet Partisi's 74 — a margin of just 7 votes. At the 2023 parliamentary election 14 of 154 ballots cast were ruled invalid (9.1%), well above the district average. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to DEM Parti with 83 votes, while Eleşkirt as a whole was won by AK Parti.
