How Karabacak votes

A single ballot box served Karabacak at the 2023 parliamentary election, with 53 registered voters; that places it 67th among the 75 localities of Eleşkirt.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to Yeşil Sol Parti with 20 votes, while across Eleşkirt the leading party was AK Parti, with Yeşil Sol Parti here running 21.6 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 24 of 44 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 7.9 points below the district average. At the 2017 referendum 31 of 49 valid votes were 'yes' — 11.5 points below the district average.

First place has changed hands 4 times here since 2009. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to DEM Parti with 17 votes, while Eleşkirt as a whole was won by AK Parti.
