How Kayayolu votes

Kayayolu ranks 68th by electorate among the 75 localities of Eleşkirt. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 52 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to Yeşil Sol Parti with 12 votes, while across Eleşkirt the leading party was AK Parti with 43.1%, leaving Yeşil Sol Parti at 34.0%. In the presidential runoff, 12 of 22 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; across the district that share was 37.5%. At the 2017 referendum 23 of 40 valid votes were 'yes'; across the district the 'yes' share was 74.8%.
