Oztoprak ranks 69th by electorate among the 75 localities of Eleşkirt. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 51 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
46 people voted at that election. AK Parti took the most votes with 20; Yeniden Refah followed with 9. AK Parti's share here is 1.3 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff, 36 of 45 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 17.5 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 58 of 58 valid votes were 'yes' — 25.2 points above the district average.
The tightest race came at the 2023 parliamentary election: AK Parti took 20 votes to Yeniden Refah's 9 — a margin of just 11 votes. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to Yeniden Refah with 17 votes, while Eleşkirt as a whole was won by AK Parti. The electorate shrank from 72 registered voters in 2011 to 51 in 2023 — a change of about 29 percent. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 90.2%, 21.3 points above the district average.
