Ceylanli ranks 37th by electorate among the 50 localities of Hamur. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 93 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 30 votes, while across Hamur the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 11.6 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 44 of 66 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 24.2 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 61 of 70 valid votes were 'yes' — 29.6 points above the district average.
Turnout at the 2024 local election was 27.0%, 48.8 points below the district average. The electorate shrank from 128 registered voters in 2011 to 93 in 2023 — a change of about 27 percent. The tightest race came at the 2015 parliamentary election: AK Parti took 43 votes to Yeşil Sol Parti's 35 — a margin of just 8 votes. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 10 votes, while Hamur as a whole was won by DEM Parti.
