How Ekincik votes

Ekincik ranks 7th by electorate among the 50 localities of Hamur; it had 334 registered voters at the 2023 parliamentary election.

Yeşil Sol Parti took 64.4% in the neighborhood at that election. Across Hamur the same party stood at 52.5%, putting the neighborhood 11.9 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 56.4% here and 57.6% across the district. At the 2017 referendum 73.1% of the neighborhood voted 'yes'; across the district that was 57.5%.

Yeşil Sol Parti stood at 80.1% at the 2015 parliamentary election and fell to 64.4% by 2023. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to DEVA Partisi with 97.2%, while Hamur as a whole was won by DEM Parti. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 80.8%, 5.0 points above the district average.
