With 34 voters on the roll at the 2023 parliamentary election, Erdogan stands 49th among the 50 localities of Hamur, and its votes were cast at one ballot box.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 15 votes, while across Hamur the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 17.1 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 11 of 20 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 12.6 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 24 of 33 valid votes were 'yes' — 15.2 points above the district average.
The tightest race came at the 2023 parliamentary election: AK Parti took 15 votes to Yeşil Sol Parti's 11 — a margin of just 4 votes. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 13 votes, while Hamur as a whole was won by DEM Parti. The electorate shrank from 51 registered voters in 2011 to 34 in 2023 — a change of about 33 percent. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 91.2%, 19.8 points above the district average.
