Gumuskusak ranks 40th by electorate among the 50 localities of Hamur. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 80 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

In the presidential runoff, 33 of 48 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 11.2 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 57 of 98 valid votes were 'no' — 15.7 points above the district average.
