Kamisli ranks 50th by electorate among the 50 localities of Hamur. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 12 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 8 votes, while across Hamur the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti with 52.5%, leaving AK Parti at 31.3%. In the presidential runoff, 10 of 15 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan; across the district that share was 42.4%. At the 2017 referendum 21 of 22 valid votes were 'yes'; across the district the 'yes' share was 57.5%.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to Yeniden Refah with 3 votes, while Hamur as a whole was won by DEM Parti. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 58.3%, 17.5 points below the district average.
