How Kandildagi votes

Kandildagi ranks 17th by electorate among the 50 localities of Hamur. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 235 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 58 votes, while across Hamur the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti with 52.5%, leaving AK Parti at 31.3%. In the presidential runoff, 75 of 127 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan; across the district that share was 42.4%. At the 2017 referendum 122 of 146 valid votes were 'yes'; across the district the 'yes' share was 57.5%.

At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to AK Parti with 138 votes, while Hamur as a whole was won by DEM Parti. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 61.7%, 9.6 points below the district average.
