The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 59.1%, while across Patnos the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 40.0 points above its district average. The same divide shows in the presidential runoff: Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took 73.4% here, 45.8 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 81.1% of the neighborhood voted 'yes' — 46.5 points above the district average.
