Dizginkale ranks 114th by electorate among the 122 localities of Patnos. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 37 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 15 votes, while across Patnos the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti with 52.1%, leaving CHP at 22.3%. In the presidential runoff, 24 of 33 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; across the district that share was 72.4%. At the 2017 referendum 21 of 29 valid votes were 'no'; across the district the 'no' share was 65.4%.
At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to CHP with 32 votes, while Patnos as a whole was won by AK Parti. Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 100.0%, 31.3 points above the district average.
