Guvercinli ranks 93rd by electorate among the 122 localities of Patnos. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 113 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

101 people voted at that election. Yeşil Sol Parti took the most votes with 64; AK Parti followed with 21. Yeşil Sol Parti's share here is 13.9 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff, 60 of 83 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; across the district that share was 72.4%. At the 2017 referendum 62 of 73 valid votes were 'no'; across the district the 'no' share was 65.4%.

The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2015: the same political line has finished first in all of the last 6 elections (Yeşil Sol Parti in 2015, HDP in 2019, DEM Parti in 2024). At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to DEM Parti with 38 votes, while Patnos as a whole was won by AK Parti.
