Hisarkoy ranks 121st by electorate among the 122 localities of Patnos. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 24 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 10 votes, while across Patnos the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 16.6 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 16 of 25 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 36.4 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 14 of 21 valid votes were 'yes' — 32.1 points above the district average.
First place has changed hands 5 times here since 2009. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to Yeniden Refah with 12 votes, while Patnos as a whole was won by AK Parti. The electorate shrank from 78 registered voters in 2011 to 24 in 2023 — a change of about 69 percent. The tightest race came at the 2009 local election: DTP took 26 votes to AK Parti's 21 — a margin of just 5 votes.
