In the presidential runoff, 163 of 170 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu — 23.5 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 162 of 174 valid votes were 'no' — 27.7 points above the district average.
The neighborhood has stayed on the same line since 2014: the same political line has finished first in all of the last 7 elections (BDP in 2014, Yeşil Sol Parti in 2015, HDP in 2019, DEM Parti in 2024). Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 77.1%, 8.3 points above the district average. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to DEM Parti with 79 votes, while Patnos as a whole was won by AK Parti.
