Onbasilar ranks 118th by electorate among the 122 localities of Patnos. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 34 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 7 votes, while across Patnos the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti with 52.1%, leaving AK Parti at 19.1%. In the presidential runoff, 9 of 15 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; across the district that share was 72.4%.
