Ranked 65th among the 122 localities of Patnos, Patnos L Tipi Kapali Ceza Evi carried 251 registered voters at the 2023 parliamentary election.
Yeşil Sol Parti took 174 of the 232 valid votes cast in the neighborhood at that election (75.0%). That puts the neighborhood 22.9 points above the party's district average. In the presidential runoff Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu took 93.1% here — 20.7 points above the district average.
The electorate shrank from 653 registered voters in 2018 to 251 in 2023 — a change of about 62 percent. At the 2024 local election the neighborhood went to DEM Parti with 50.9%, while Patnos as a whole was won by AK Parti. The picture has not changed since 2018: the same political line has finished first in all of the last 4 elections (Yeşil Sol Parti in 2018, HDP in 2019, DEM Parti in 2024). Turnout at the 2023 parliamentary election was 93.6%, 24.9 points above the district average.
