Yesilhisar ranks 105th by electorate among the 122 localities of Patnos. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 68 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.
The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to AK Parti with 22 votes, while across Patnos the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti, with AK Parti here running 28.7 points above its district average. In the presidential runoff, 44 of 50 valid votes went to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — 60.4 points above the district average. At the 2017 referendum 52 of 57 valid votes were 'yes' — 56.6 points above the district average.
The tightest race came at the 2015 parliamentary election: Yeşil Sol Parti took 29 votes to AK Parti's 18 — a margin of just 11 votes. The electorate shrank from 90 registered voters in 2011 to 68 in 2023 — a change of about 24 percent. Turnout at the 2024 local election was 76.1%, 8.2 points above the district average. First place has changed hands 4 times here since 2009.
