The neighborhood parts ways with the district as a whole. At the 2023 parliamentary election it went to CHP with 12 votes, while across Patnos the leading party was Yeşil Sol Parti with 52.1%, leaving CHP at 22.3%. In the presidential runoff, 18 of 21 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; across the district that share was 72.4%. At the 2017 referendum 13 of 18 valid votes were 'no'; across the district the 'no' share was 65.4%.
