Gozucu ranks 20th by electorate among the 41 localities of Taşlıçay. The neighborhood has a single ballot box, and 205 voters were registered there for the 2023 parliamentary election.

153 people voted at that election. Yeşil Sol Parti took the most votes with 103; AK Parti followed with 26. Yeşil Sol Parti's share here is 9.5 points above the district average. In the presidential runoff, 88 of 132 valid votes went to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; across the district that share was 68.8%. At the 2017 referendum 82 of 163 valid votes were 'yes'; across the district the 'yes' share was 41.8%.
